Helen Smallwood
Helen Smallwood
Helen is a South Florida native that grew up in the Yachting Industry and started Smallwood’s in Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas Boulevard in 1981. Her industry knowledge, fashion retail experience, and commitment to service have informed and guided the Smallwood’s team for more than 40 years. She always makes sure her team members feel valued and her customers feel appreciated and that has been a formula for success – taking her from one small showroom on Las Olas to showrooms and distribution facilities in three countries. Helen’s interests outside of work revolve around spending time with her family – she enjoys cooking, running, and maintaining an immaculate lawn.
Bryant Smallwood
Bryant Smallwood
Bryant joined our team in 1989 and has experience in all facets of our operation. His extensive travel and work in everything from sales to artwork and embroidery make him a valuable team member and someone we can always count on in a pinch. In his role as Head of IT, Bryant is constantly working to save our organization time by developing efficient systems and making sure we have the best tech to keep up in today’s ever changing business environment. Outside of work Bryant can generally be found on the pickleball courts but he also enjoys boating and cooking on his flattop griddle.
Emmanuelle Heinrich
Emmanuelle Heinrich
Emmanuelle joined our team in 2022 and oversees all accounting responsibilities for both Smallwood’s US and Smallwood’s Europe. Originally from France, she is now a proud US citizen and has a background working at companies with both US and European operations. That combined with her positive attitude and great work ethic make her a huge asset to our team. Outside of work Emmanuelle enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, and taking advantage of all the fine dining and entertainment that Miami has to offer.
Erika Infante
Erika Infante
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Erika joined us in 2023 and right away proved to be an asset to our team. Working with Emmanuelle on all accounting tasks she is efficient, organized, and always brings a positive attitude to our Fort Lauderdale office. Her background is not only in accounting, but also hospitality, which fits right into the service focused atmosphere we work to create at Smallwood’s. When not working, she’s likely to be found watching reruns of The Office, listening to music and doing her best to keep her plants alive.
Saxon Cwalinski
Saxon Cwalinski
Saxon’s attitude and work ethic set the tempo for our team. After working in our Antibes showroom in 2014 Saxon moved to Manhattan where he worked in recruitment and IT sales for several years before rejoining Smallwood’s in 2019 as an Account Manager in Fort Lauderdale. Following four years of travel between Smallwood’s locations that lead to an impressive book of business, Saxon was promoted to Sales Director in 2023. His experience, customer first approach, and dedication to his team make him someone that people enjoy working worth, no matter the type of project. A resident of Miami Beach, Saxon’s interests outside of work revolve around personal fitness and travel – he’s climbed Kilimanjaro and completed marathons on multiple continents.
Laura Campbell
Laura Campbell
Originally from Hull in the UK Laura worked as a Chief Stew on several Mega Yachts before joining the Smallwood’s team in Fort Lauderdale in 2006. Her experience onboard and understanding of what our clients need to be successful make her a favorite with all the crews she works with. Laura now resides in the South of France where she is raising a beautiful bilingual family and enjoying the Cote d’Azur lifestyle. Quick with a joke and possessing an infectious laugh, Laura is always the life of the party – she loves spending time with her kids, singing karaoke, and traveling.
Nicole Quintero
Nicole Quintero
Since joining our sales team in 2016 Nicole has proven to be immensely popular with her clients, consistently maintaining relationships with crew as they move from yacht to yacht, while always growing her book of business. Following year after year of increased sales, she was promoted to Sales Manager in 2023 and is a major source of support and knowledge to her sales colleagues. Her product knowledge and experience make her well suited to handle uniform projects of any size and scope. A former state champion in softball, Nicole likes to spend her time outside of work watching sports and hanging out with friends.
Milan Pikhart
Milan Pikhart
Milan joined the Smallwood’s sales team in Antibes in 2016 and was an instant hit with both his coworkers and customers. His positive attitude, quick wit, and attention to detail make him truly a pleasure to work with. After several years working in Antibes, Milan moved home to the Czech Republic where he continues to work remotely for us, maintaining a list of clients as well as handling all of the purchasing for our European operation. Milan is a talented hockey player and outside of work he enjoys keeping fit, spending time with his son, and sharing a pint with friends.
Kyleigh Farne
Kyleigh Farne
Kyleigh joined our Fort Lauderdale sales team in 2023 and immediately impressed with her ability to keep cool under pressure. She is a pleasure to work with and does a great job of making all of her clients feel at home when they come in to get their uniforms. Her customer first approach and positive demeanor set her up for success and we are lucky to have her onboard. A native Floridian, Kyleigh loves playing tennis, boating, and traveling in her free time.
Adrian Alonso
Adrian Alonso
A Barcelona native, Adrian joined our European team in 2023. With prior industry experience, an outgoing personality, and a knack for sales we are lucky to have him onboard. Based in Barcelona but planning on traveling consistently, you can expect to see him in a marina near you soon. Adrian is fluent in both Spanish and English, has an interest in photography and when he’s not working, he enjoys spending time at the beach, playing padel, and traveling.
Hunter Cwalinski
Hunter-Cwalinski
Hunter joined our Antibes team in 2012 as an Account Manager and after several years working between there and Fort Lauderdale was tasked with opening our Barcelona office. Following a year in Barcelona he took on the role of Sales Director. Hunter’s strengths have always been in organization and efficiency and in 2023 he was promoted to Director of Operations. He now oversees all aspects of order processing and fulfillment, always with the goal of making the uniform process easier for our team and its clients. Extensive travel between our locations and experience as part of the sales team allow him to represent our clients’ needs at all levels and to give our team the tools they need to meet them. Aside from work, Hunter enjoys spending time with his new son and reading about world history.
Suzie Poirier
Suzie Poirier
Joining Smallwood’s as part of our embroidery team in 1985 Suzie has worked her way up and now oversees our warehouse and makes sure that orders are finished on time and up to our high standards. Suzie is the ultimate team player and is always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our sales team and their clients get what they need, when they need it. When she’s not at work making our sales team look good, Suzie can usually be found on the golf course or hanging out with family.
Chris Higgins
Chris Higgins
Chris joined our Fort Lauderdale operation in 2017 and is currently responsible for all shipments in and out of that warehouse. Impossible to fluster and possessing a go with the flow attitude, Chris helps to keep an even keel over at the warehouse. He knows his role like the back of his hand and has a great relationship with our sales team, which is good since they are counting on him to make sure their orders arrive on time. A very talented sketch artist, Chris has one of the more interestingly decorated workspaces at Smallwood’s. When not shipping uniforms, Chris also enjoys reading about history.

Nicholas joined our Antibes team in 2016 and is an indispensable part of our European operation. His attention to detail and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done are major benefits to his sales colleagues, who consistently count on him to get orders out the door in a hurry. A reliable coworker and great communicator, if Nicholas says it will get done, you can be confident it will get done – and that kind of dependability is what Smallwood’s is built on. Nicholas is fluent in French and English, is a talented billiards player and enjoys spending time with his family.
Deanna Duskin
Deanna Duskin
Deanna joined our warehouse team in 2021 and straight away made an impact with her amazing work ethic and positive attitude. Well-rounded and super dependable, she has been able to handle all tasks thrown at her and all of the Smallwood’s sales team feel confident when she’s working on their orders. When she’s not keeping the warehouse organized and pulling orders, Deanna likes to hang out with her pets, work on her garden, and practice yoga.
Jonell Etienne
Jonell Etienne
Jonell joined our warehouse team in 2022 and from the start has played a crucial role in keeping that part of our operation moving in the right direction. He always comes to work with a smile and keeps things positive while making sure all of our shipments are received properly and helping Chris to get orders out the door on time. When he’s not working on his fitness in the gym, Jonell likes to play pool and unwinds by hanging out with his family and his dogs.
Eva Esteban

Having previously worked at the Monaco Yacht Show, Eva joined our Antibes team in 2012, bringing along a wealth of industry experience. Eva’s positive attitude and attention to detail keep the Antibes office running smoothly and make her a favorite with coworkers. Her reliability, willingness to help, and fluency in French, English, and Spanish ensure that she’s always top of mind when there’s a project to be handled. Eva loves to travel and if she’s not out dancing and singing karaoke with Laura, she can be found spending time with her two beautiful children.
Oscar Moreno
Oscar Moreno
Oscar is originally from Monterrey, Mexico and prior to joining Smallwood’s in Fort Lauderdale in 2017 spent 10 years in Georgia working in the screen printing and embroidery industries. His creativity, extensive experience and fluency in both Spanish and English make him a huge asset to our team and clients. Oscar rides his bike to work every day, is a big soccer fan, and is totally committed to his family - especially his beautiful granddaughter.
Aurelia (Lyn) Vasquez
Aurelia (Lyn) Vasquez
Lyn became a part of the Smallwood’s team in 2021 and from the start blew us all away with how fast she was able to work through embroidery orders. An eye for detail and previous experience in the role have made her a pro at what she does and having her onboard has dramatically increased our capacity for getting a large volume of embroidery done whenever our clients need it. Lyn is interested in life insurance brokerage but when she’s not putting logos on shirts or mitigating financial risk, she relaxes by singing and working in her garden.
Ligia Franky
Ligia Franky
Ligia has been with us from the very beginning. Joining us in 1981 she has been a mainstay of our team and favorite of staff and customers alike for four decades. Every day she comes to work with a smile on her face and makes even the most complex alterations seem like a simple job. Aside from keeping her coworkers laughing and taking pictures with the office mascot, Mia, Ligia enjoys dancing and spending time with friends.
